I work as a Project Manager and during an afternoon washup I was thinking, thank god we don't do anything important, like deliver babies...

The afternoon washup would go something like:

How many babies did you plan to deliver today?

How many did you deliver?

Why?
One wasn't ready to come out
Did you call the doctor?

What did he say?
He said he could rip it out but it would probably die
And...?
I thought the objective was to deliver live babies
